How much of the $100,000 funding can affiliates receive?
Eligible applicants can apply for partnership amounts ranging from $1,000 up to a maximum of $25,000.
What reasons make an application eligible for funding?
Successful applications can receive funding for disaster or hardship relief, to cover the cost of sport education, infrastructure projects, uniform and equipment upgrades as well as growth and inclusion programs. For more information on eligibility requirements click here.
What can individual participants apply for?
Individual participants facing financial barriers to their touch footy participation can apply for a share of the funding. This includes support to attend training camps and/or event travel expenses.
I’m a player, team, club or volunteer who has previously received funding from DoorDash Footy Cash, am I eligible to apply again this year?
Yes, players, teams or clubs that received funding in previous years are still eligible to apply for assistance this year.
We’re a club looking to implement and establish programs for minority groups, does this make us eligible for the funding?
Absolutely! Clubs focusing on growth and inclusion programs for Australian minority groups such as female, indigenous, multicultural, and LGBTQIA+ communities are encouraged to apply.
I’m a volunteer or official, can I apply for a share of the grant?
Yes, volunteers or officials who need financial support to cover the cost of education courses and/or associated travel costs are eligible to apply.
When will I know if my application has been successful?
All applicants will be notified on the 1st of September 2024, and successful ones will receive an agreement on September 15th 2024. For more information regarding payment timelines, please refer to our guidelines.
What do I need to do if I’m successful?
Successful applicants will be contacted directly with instructions on the next steps provided at the time.
